Complete Conditioning for Baseball

When it comes to conditioning for baseball, there are more than a few things athletes and programs that don’t have a conditioning coach on staff must be on the lookout for. First and foremost, how knowledgeable is the person you are working with? Lot’s of “personal trainers” are getting involved with sports and athletes to the detriment of both sometimes. The book is called “Complete Conditioning for Baseball” and it’s a book written by Steven M. Tamborra. Coach Tamborra is the strength and conditioning coach for 60 AP Collegiate All-Americans, 16 first-round draft picks, and more than 100 athletes drafted by professional sports teams. It provides exercises, drills, and programs designed to improve the essential elements of the sport—strength, power, speed, agility, and quickness. His programs will help you in these areas.

The book has nine chapters that read really well but the thing I like is the DVD is gives you great examples of the movements and how they should be performed safely and correctly. The information is on target and I can honestly say never gets dull. So if you are an athlete who is looking to get right for baseball this set is truly for you.
